That lioness was not going to hurt her. You could tell she looked at first curious, and then amazingly, she actually appeared to show affection.

Maybe the most fascinating animal video I’ve ever seen. In the deep eyes of the lioness there seems to be not only sadness, but also love and almost a recognition of a known soul. It looks complex and touching.
This lioness seems to be good within, as though she wants to get through to the little girls on a level of deep wisdom and kindness. I feel so, so sorry for her. I hope captivity hasn’t broken her.
